Goodbye Summer of 2010.

It’s the last of August, it’s raining cats and dogs and it’s about 13 degrees Celsius out there – I can’t fight the feeling, that autumn may be coming. So – I think I sould say goodbye to a really good summer 2010. But before I do so, here are some more statistics:

I traveled…

  • 920 km by plane
  • 944 km by car
  • 1.355 km by train

I bought these new albums…

  • Kate Nash “My Best Friend Is You”
  • Mumford & Sons “Sigh No More”
  • Citadels “The Chemical Song”
  • Die Fantastischen Vier “Für Dich immer noch Fanta Sie”
  • Jack Johnson “To the Sea”
  • Jónsi “Go”
  • Sigur Rós “Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum endalaust”
  • LCD Soundsystem “This Is Happening”
  • Mumford & Sons, Laura Marling & Dharohar Project
  • LCD Soundsystem “Sound Of Silver”

I saw this bands live…

  • Jónsi
  • Mumford & Sons
  • Muse
  • Gogol Bordello
  • Tocotronic
  • Element of Crime

I went for a swim…

  • at Brigittenau, Wien
  • at Grado, Italy
  • at Freibad St. Pölten
  • at Weißensee, Kärnten

I spent many glorious evenings in the warm summer air with beloved friends and colleagues. My favourite summer drinks were beer and Aperol Spritzer. My favourite pair of shoes were my sandals, my favourite bargain this red sunglasses I got at Frequency festival. But – after the summer comes the autumn and I wish you all and myself a great one!

Goodbye summer of 2010!
You were great fun!
